Hi, I’m Carrie and I want to introduce myself and tell you why this whole thing exists.

I hit 45 and had a bit of a moment.

Not dramatic. Not loud.
Just this quiet realisation that… I don’t need anyone’s permission anymore.

Not for what I wear.
Not for what I believe.
Not for how I show up.

And it’s INCREDIBLE how freeing that feels.

Motherhood and getting older did that to me ( also gave me wobbly bits, some wrinkles and a bigger pant size, but hey, ho!).

When you’re raising a daughter to be strong and confident and completely herself, you start asking… am I doing that too?

Am I shrinking?
Am I toning it down?
Am I waiting for approval?

And honestly? I stopped.

I also stopped accepting that mums become less relevant or that we should be less visible. 

We’re funny, ambitious, stylish, smart and allowed to take up space.
